A win at the Royal Melbourne Show was icing on the cake for Point Cook schoolgirl Chloe, 12.
The Emmanuel College year 7 student took out the prize for junior cake decorating with a christening cake featuring icing sugar booties and flowers.
It’s her second win after a victory with a teddy bears’ picnic cake in 2011.
Chloe began cake decorating as a nine-year-old after learning some tricks from her grandmother.
She is now one of the youngest members of the Cake Decorating Association of Victoria. Chloe hopes to become an architect, likening it to the creativity and patience required in cake decorating.
