A Point Cook mother will compete in Saturday’s grand final of the Best of the West talent quest.
Stay-at-home mum Michelle Gardiner won a place in the final after singing Miranda Lambert’s Love Song for judges including Phil Ceberano in a heat on August 17.
Ms Gardiner has been performing for friends and family since she was eight.
“I love to perform in front of an audience and this was a chance to do that,” she said.
Ms Gardiner said her daughters, Chloe, 6, and Teagan, 3, loved
watching her perform and were eager to see her on stage at Caroline
Springs’ WestWaters Hotel.
“Performing for the judges in the heat was great, but it will be
very different performing in front of a big audience,” she said.
The winner will receive a career kickstarter package, including mentoring and a professional photo shoot.
