Werribee showjumping event goes in leaps and bounds

An extra competition ring is being built at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre after a surge in registrations for the Australian Showjumping Championships.

More than 400 riders  will compete in the four-day event from September 19-22.

The championships are a chance for riders to compete for selection in the Australian team for next year’s World Equestrian Games in Normandy.

Equestrian Victoria chief executive Greg Pratt said the championships would deliver great competition for riders and horse owners.
