A WERRIBEE nursing home was quarantined for six days after an
outbreak of the common cold.
Twenty-one residents of Mercy Place
displayed symptoms on August 5,
causing staff to close the home to visitors until August 11.
Staff said the closure prevented the illness spreading to the
wider community.
