Family history: Experience Family History Week at the Plaza library until Saturday. Workshops from 10.30am-noon Wednesday include researching family history while overseas. From 10.30am-noon on Thursday, you can browse the British newspaper archives; then from 2pm-4pm, Friday, ‘‘look local’’. And from 2pm-4pm Saturday, there’s an antique evaluation session. Theatre: Down to Earth is a play being staged at the Werribee Park historic farm. Based on the lives of its farm workers, pre-mansion days, the play offers interactive comedy and scary moments as you’re taken on a journey to the mid-19th century. It’s at 8pm Saturday, August 10.
