INTEREST in one of Wyndham’s biggest morning tea fund-raisers was so great this year that organisers had to start a waiting list.
About 300 people attended the recent Biggest Morning Tea at the Italian Sports Club of Werribee to raise money for the Cancer Council.
The club’s ladies committee, including Connie Fugazzotto, Liliana Donati, Dala Lim, Iole Brunato and Rita Fusco, has been organising the fund-raisers for seven years. About $9000 was raised this year.
The event included raffles and a silent auction. Since 2006, the club has raised almost $50,000.
