LITTLE River landowners are being urged to attend a free information session this month to help them tackle one of the municipality’s most significant environmental pests.
Serrated tussock is a devastating weed that has invaded Victoria, including many areas of Wyndham, and is considered one of the state’s most costly agricultural threats.
Landowners have a legal responsibility to manage declared pest plants and animals on their property to ensure they don’t affect agricultural production on neighbouring farms or impact the environment.
Council’s free information session will be from 7-9pm on Tuesday, June 25, at Little River Reserve, You Yangs Road.
