THERE was plenty of action at the Melbourne International Three-Day Event at historic Werribee Park at the weekend.
The event included former Olympians and rising equestrian stars who took part in cross-country, dressage and showjumping competitions.
Equestrian Victoria chief executive Greg Pratt said the event, the southern hemisphere’s longest-running equestrian competition, allowed people to get up close to some of Australia’s top riders.
Werribee Park will host the national showjumping championships in September.
