The Smith Family initiative gives students wanting to pursue careers in art advice and support from a Deakin University student.
Each Thursday, students will be given help with their art and design folios and receive advice about study options.
The Smith Family began the club to help disadvantaged Wyndham Central students feel more involved with their school and improve their education outcomes.
Spokeswoman Sara Bannister says the organisation relies on donations and community fund-raisers to keep programs running.
She urged residents to make donations to the Winter Appeal. Donations: 1800 024 069.
