Thirty-one residential roads will be reconstructed as part of a $9 million council roadworks project. Roads in Wyndham Vale and Hoppers Crossing have been included in the project, part of the 2012-13 roadworks budget. Cr Shane Bourke said while many of the projects were aimed at accommodating the city’s rapid growth, these projects also ensured the council’s older roads were maintained.
