A WOMAN, 21, died after a crash in Laverton North last Friday.
The St Albans woman was driving west along Dohertys Road, near Cherry Lane, when her car and a garbage truck travelling in the opposite direction collided about 9.30am.
The woman, who was the sole occupant of the car, was taken to The Alfred hospital where she died on Friday afternoon.
The male truck driver was not injured.
