GDFL: Werribee Centrals slow down in second half

WERRIBEE Centrals ran out of petrol in the second half of their GDFL Smiths Holden Cup season opening 58-point loss to North Geelong at Galvin Park on Saturday.

The Centurions were more than competitive before half-time, but the visiting Magpies piled on 11 goals to four in the second half to run away convincing winners.

The best for the Centurions were Nathan Lovell, who booted three goals, Stephen Morgan and Brad McNicol.
