WYNDHAM residents have dug deep for the Royal Children’s Hospital’s Good Friday Appeal. Wyndham Community and Education Centre staff and clients rattled tins at Werribee Plaza last Wednesday, collecting $1556 in two hours.
They were joined by the Victoria Police band Code One, officers including Lee Trinh (pictured with Rayna, 3) and members of the Werribee Tigers. Werribee and Wyndham Vale firefighters also raised money for the appeal, collecting $75,000.
At Point Cook, a CFA family fun day and auction raised more then $21,500.
