THE city’s best businesses are being asked to throw their hats in the ring for the 19th annual Wyndham business awards.
Categories include retail, tourism, manufacturing, service, arts and entertainment. This year’s awards will feature new categories including ‘food and hospitality’, for which co-owner Nick Christou (pictured) will nominate the Park Hotel beer hall and eatery on Watton Street.
Deputy mayor Marie Brittan said the awards were highly coveted in the business community. “Wyndham is fortunate to be home to such a strong and varied business community, from the industries in Laverton North, to small family-run businesses and home-based businesses to our retail precincts.”
