COLES Wyndham Village will today officially open the doors to its new-look market-style supermarket, with a range of fresh produce and new products on offer.
One of the new elements is the affordable MIX clothing range, available at more than 70 Coles supermarkets across Australia.
“Most prices won’t break the weekly budget, with many pieces under $25,” Wyndham Village store manager Dean Theobald (pictured) says.
“In addition to MIX, the store will have its fresh produce section displaying fruit and vegetables on ice for maximum freshness.”
The supermarket’s bakery and meat sections have also been revamped.
“Coles’ in-store bakery team of four will prepare the supermarket’s signature range of bread daily, producing authentic ciabatta, cookies and scones. And freshly baked hot-cross buns, including Coles Finest Luxury Hot-Cross Buns, will arrive in time for Easter,” Mr Theobald says.
“Meat manager Andrea – who has been with Coles for 15 years – will head up the new butchery with her team of four. Customers will have plenty of options from the fresh meat department, including succulent beef cuts straight from the cutting table.”
The store’s delicatessen will stock specialty cheeses and a new olive bar will allow customers to choose their own antipasto. Popular barbecue chickens will be available at the rotisserie.
Mr Theobald looks forward to shoppers coming in to experience the store’s fresh offerings.
“We invite locals to join us at Coles Wyndham Village to see what exciting features we’ve got in store. Our innovations ensure customers have access to the best fresh food and products with the same great value for money. We’re confident our new store layout is going to impress our customers and want to thank the community for their support during the renovation.”
Coles Wyndham Village, Wyndham Village shopping centre, 380 Sayers Road, Tarneit, opens 6am-midnight daily.
