And the priorities are …

Wyndham councillors will hit the streets to hear residents’ main priorities for the municipality for the next four years. Councillors will set up listening posts in Werribee, Point Cook and Wyndham Vale over the next month and ideas raised will help form the council’s city plan for 2013-17. Listening posts will be held at Point Cook Town Centre on March 15 from 6-8pm; Station Place in Werribee on March 24 from 9-11am; Werribee Plaza on April 6 from 9-11am; and Manor Lakes Shopping Centre on April 13 from 9-11am.

Courts to light up

Sporting facilities in Wyndham have received a boost with the state government announcing more than $32,000 for lighting at the new Wooten Road Reserve tennis courts. Lights will be installed on courts seven, eight and nine. Western Metropolitan Liberal MP Andrew Elsbury said the project would allow the use the courts and night, increasing participation and health.
