Info sought after indecent act

Police are seeking information about a man who committed an indecent act in a Laverton fast food shop last week. The man, aged in his 30s, arrived at McDonald’s in Lunn Court just before 1pm on Monday, January 28. A police spokeswoman said he bought food, sat at a table and began masturbating. The man is described as Caucasian, about 175 centimetres , of medium build and with blond, spiky hair. He was wearing blue shorts, dark runners and a yellow T-shirt. Teen’s disappearance a worry

Police have serious concerns for the welfare of a Templestowe teenager who has been missing since January 27. Investigators believe Sarah Brown, 14, may be in the Werribee area. She was last seen leaving her home at 11am on January 27 and was supposed to return the next day. Sarah is described as 160 centimetres, with a thin build and long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a tracksuit and runners.

Parents’ turn to speak their mind

Wyndham parents are being encouraged to have their say on a national approach to family and child services. A study by Western Sydney University is seeking the views of parents, GPs and other medical specialists about the possible creation of universal child and family health services. Cr Marie Brittan said that with 3556 babies born in the municipality last year, the results of the study would be particularly important to Wyndham.
