KAREN seniors living in Tarneit are being encouraged to become more involved in their community through CatholicCare.
The organisation has received a $5000 state grant to run a weekly health living group for Karen elders.
The group aims to offer social activities such as craft, gardening, exercise, computer training and excursions, information about accommodation options and speakers from council, health professionals and service providers.
