FORMER mayor Kim McAliney has been appointed to a new health board. Ms McAliney will join former Mercy Health executive director Richard Ainley on the new Medicare Local board for south-west Melbourne.
The board will focus on health needs such as access to after-hours care, enhanced mental health services and reducing the incidence of diabetes.
