Study looks at saving historic Wyndham sites

WYNDHAM residents are being urged to have their say about a new heritage strategy to protect historic sites.

The strategy, which includes sites in Tarneit, Truganina and Mount Cottrell, will help in the preparation of Wyndham North precinct structure plans being drawn up by the Growth Areas Authority.

The strategy identifies sites to be retained or removed and follows previous studies for the area.

Residents are being encouraged to read the strategy and comment before Monday, November 26.
