Yarraville cup run ends

An own goal proved costly for Yarraville in their Australia Cup game against the Brimbank Stallions on Tuesday as they went down 2-1 at Knights Stadium.

Yarraville had the early lead through Anatolis Bampanis scoring in the 34th minute although the Stallions were able to storm back to win the game.

The match was played at a neutral venue at Melbourne Knights National Premier League home ground.

Yarraville will face Sydenham Park in their round seven home and away clash this Saturday at 3pm at Keilor Lodge Reserve.
