Wyndham Warriors lacrosse team is hunting for players

Wanted: lacrosse players of all ages.

Wyndham Warriors lacrosse team is hunting for players to field under-13, under-15 and under-17 boys and girls teams.

The club, which launched this year and has two under-11 teams, also wants to develop senior men’s and women’s teams.

President David Fairclough says training is every Monday and Wednesday from 6pm at Tarneit’s Wootten Road Reserve. “We’ve already achieved one of our goals,” he says.

“We began the year with eight under-11 players and our goal for the year was to have two under-11 teams. We did that a couple of weeks ago.”
