Werribee City’s hot start to the National Premier League 2 west competition shows no signs of abating.
The Bees are setting a cracking pace at the top of the ladder with four wins from four starts.
The Sergio Sabbadini-coached Bees are the only side left with a flawless record.
Werribee City went to work early in their 2-0 victory over Whittlesea Zebras at Galvin Park on Saturday evening.
Two goals in the first half hour was all the Bees needed to claim all three points.
Defender Julyan Collett bobbed up to open the scoring in the 21st minute for the Bees.

Collett has scored in each of his past two games.
Nine minutes later, Takanori Nishimoto doubled the Bees lead.
There was drama late in the game when Bees midfielder Dion Paola was sent off after collecting a second yellow card.
Despite being down to 10 men for the last 12 minutes and stoppage time, the Bees proved too good.
Werribee City is back on the road this Saturday to face Moreland City at Campbell Reserve.
In the FFA Cup, Point Cook had a Friday night win over Old Scotch at Saltwater Reserve.
The Jets soared into the next round after a match-winning goal from Ethan O’Connell.
Meanwhile, Western United’s playing roster for its inaugural A-League season is starting to take shape.
United’s latest signing is a player approaching the peak of his powers in former Newcastle Jets and Melbourne City defender Connor Chapman.
Chapman has spent the past two seasons playing in the K-League with Incheon United and Pohang Steelers.
He is the third signing for United, following the captures of Greek international Panagiotis Kone and Socceroo Josh Risdon.
The lure of playing on home soil and being part of a new franchise excited Chapman.
“I am very excited to join Western United as we embark on our inaugural season,” Chapman said.
“My experience in the very tough Korean league has been invaluable and at 24 I feel that I am entering the peak of my career.”
Chapman has represented Australia at under-17, under-20 and under-23 levels.
