Point Cook has been left with little doubt what it will take to break into the top two in the Football Federation Victoria women’s state league 4 west.

The third-placed Jets have squared off with ladder leaders Avondale and Kyneton District, losing both times.

They were super competitive against Avondale in round one, losing 2-0.

That Avondale side has gone on to win its opening six games with an astronomical goal difference of +38.

On Saturday, Point Cook played second-placed Kyneton District and lost 3-0.

In the same division, West Point went down 5-1 to Brunswick Zebras.

Point Cook had a disastrous 7-1 loss to FC Strathmore in state league 2.
