Hoppers Crossing put on a show against Altona East Phoenix at Paisley Park Soccer Complex, coming away with a 3-0 in the Men’s State League 2 North-West competition.
Two goals inside 10 minutes through Lucas Muscat 21’ and John Gildo 27’ in the first half got them the early lead and ultimately the win, edging them up the ladder with four wins and two losses to start the season.
Djordje Aleksic added another goal to the scoreline on the brink of half-time to secure the game even more going into the break for Hoppers Crossing.
Hoppers Crossing will take on a winless Geelong Rangers next week on their home pitch.
