Werribee Giants defended home soil with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Upwey-Ferntree Gully in Baseball Victoria’s summer league division 2 at Presidents Park on Sunday.
The Giants, who have showcased impressive new recruit Josh Lee (pictured) in the opening three rounds, improved their record to 2-1 ahead of tonight’s clash with bottom-of-the-ladder Malvern at the Melbourne Ball Park.
This Saturday, the Giants will play their third game in six days when they host Ballarat.
