Epping City claimed its first win of the FFV state league 2 north-west soccer season on Saturday.
After a draw in its first match following promotion for winning state league 3 north-west, Epping City took the points on Saturday against Western Suburbs.
Epping City led 1-0 at half-time and eventually won 2-1.
Hume United’s tough start to the season continued with a 3-1 loss to Albion Rovers.
Hume scored the only goal in the first half, before the Rovers got going in the second.
Mill Park suffered its first loss of the season, going down to Corio 4-1.
The score was 3-1 at half-time with Kaua Aparecido Gomes Da Silva the scorer for Mill Park.
In state league 1 north-west, Whittlesea United recorded its first win in that division.
After leading 1-0 at half-time, Whittlesea United extended its advantage in the second half for a 4-1 victory.
In state league 3 north-west, Upfield and Lalor United had big wins against FC Strathmore and Westvale respectively, while Craigieburn City lost 2-1 to Fawkner.
In state league 4 west, Plenty Valley Lions beat Greenvale United 5-1.
In state league 5 north, Bundoora United had a massive 17-2 win against Mitchell Rangers, with Adriyan Bektash and Mario Piraino scoring five goals each.
Meadow Park had a 3-0 win against Reservoir Yeti, while Thomastown Raiders lost to University of Melbourne.
