Werribee Centrals will need early wickets if they are to come away with victory against the Williamstown Imperials in the Victorian Turf Cricket Association division 3.

Playing in their first two-day match since before COVID-19, the Centrals made 168, bowled out in the 73rd over on Saturday.

Skipper Usman Ashraf top scored with 43 in the middle order.

Point Cook faced a challenging 21 overs at the end of the day and will resume in 3-35.

In division 4, Bellbridge is playing the Williamstown Congs.

The Congs won the toss and elected to bat, making 9-178 off 70 overs.

Aaron Millichip and Daniel Spencer took three wickets each for Bellbridge.

In division 5, Sanctuary Lakes is in a solid position against Sunshine YCW.

The Sharks bowled Sunshine YCW out for 137 in the 68th over.

The Sharks then had to face nine overs. They will resume at 2-8.

Wyndhamvale’s match with Melton Centrals is a one-dayer, with the Centrals ground not available due to council work.
