Werribee City fell short against Kingston City in round five of the National Premier League 2 season on Saturday afternoon.
Kingston started well and were quickly 2-0 up. The Bees would reduce to the margin with a goal to Nemanja Spasojevic in the 30th minute.
It was quickly cancelled out when Kingston scored their third goal before half time.
Despite playing with 10 men for much of the second half, Kingston won 3-2. The Bees sit fourth with three wins.
It was a tough weekend for Wyndham teams in the FV state league competition on the weekend.
In state league 2 north-west, Hoppers Crossing lost to Western Suburbs, 4-2, while in state league 3 north-west, Point Cook lost to Williamstown, 2-0.
In state league 4 west, Truganina Hornets lost to Greenvale United, 1-0, while in state league 5 west, Wyndham lost to Melton Phoenix 7-0, while West Point lost to Deakin University 3-1.
