The pain continued for Westbourne Grammarians in the Victorian Amateur Football Association division 3 on Saturday. Facing Elsternwick, the game was already over at quarter time. Elsternwick piled on the goals to win 33.20 (218)-1.2 (8). Nick Ryan and Jackson Brook were named the Grammarians best. The win less Grammarians are on the road this Saturday against Canterbury in the second last round of the season.

Werribee Centrals returned to the winners list in the Geelong and District Football League on Saturday against bottom side Anakie. Centrals led by 12 points at half time, before kicking 11 goals to one in the second half to run away with a 19.15 (129)-8.5 (53) win. Josh Sutton, Brenden Wilson and Jordan Wilson kicked four goals each in the win. Centrals sit in 10th spot. Centrals will finish their season this Saturday against Winchelsea.

Werribee Centrals’ finals preparations took another step with a big win on Saturday in the Geelong and District Netball League. Anakie proved no match for Centrals in the 68-15 win. Centrals enter the final round of the season in fourth spot. They can still finish as high as third, if they win on Saturday and Thomson losses. Centrals face Winchelsea this Saturday.

NAB League

The Western Jets stunned the Oakleigh Chargers on Saturday in the NAB League Boys competition. At half time, the Chargers were on top leading by 12 points. The Jets produced one of their best halves for the season, kicking 13 goals to four, to come away with a 17.10 (112)-10.15 (75) win. Logan Morris kicked five goals for the Jets. He was named their best alongside Alex Tsia. The win was the Jets fourth for the season.
