Werribee has drawn a tough start to the 2014 VFL season, with a trip to reigning premiers Box Hill in the season opener on April 5.
In coach John Lamont’s first game in charge, the Tigers will be out to spoil the Hawks’ flag unfurling ceremony.
The first game at Avalon Airport Oval will come a week later – a round two clash with Bendigo Gold.
The Tigers will play two games under lights on Saturday nights, taking on Northern Blues (round four) and Sandringham (round 19).
They will also head to the country for a clash with Richmond in Colac in round eight.
For the second year in a row, the Tigers will miss out on hosting rivals Williamstown in the western derby, with the sides meeting at Burbank Oval again.
