WERRIBEE Centrals were ruthless in their 62-21 disposal of North Geelong in the Geelong and District Netball League A grade on Saturday.
The Centurions produced four even quarters, refusing to lessen the pressure until the final whistle. Goalers Mickayla Ward and Eleanor Tubbs are proving an unstoppable force.
Ward moves the ball with quick hands around the attacking circle, while Tubbs is making space to capitalise from better positions. She landed 44 goals.
The Centurion defensive combinations worked to perfection with Noni McClure leading the way with numerous intercepts and incessant pressure on the North Geelong ball handlers.
Lisa Dragicevic was a driving force in the centre, while Kerryn Gonsalves had one of her best games in defence.
The Centurions, who face fourth-last Thomson at home this week, maintained their game and percentage break at the top of the ladder.
