WERRIBEE Districts and Fitzroy Lions have struggled in the first six rounds of the Victorian Amateur Football Association Premier B.
Both sides are winless with the Tigers rock bottom with 39.67% and the Roys one rung above them with 51.11%.
Mercifully, the pain will end for one of these teams on Saturday, when they meet at Soldiers Reserve.
The Tigers will go in on the back of their best showing of the season to date, a 44-point loss to St Kevin’s Old Boys.
They were in the contest until three-quarter-time, but SKOBs ran away with the contest with a five-goals-to-two last term.
Ryan Harrington booted three goals for the second week running for the Tigers, while Matthew Dean continued his sparkling form to be the best for his side for the third time in four weeks.
In division 3, winless Old Westbourne went down by 83 points to St Francis Xavier at the Westbourne School Ground.
Jesse Humphreys was best for the Warriors and capped a stellar game with two goals.
In division 4, Point Cook fought back from 26-point quarter-time deficit to beat North Brunswick by 28 points at Saltwater Reserve.
The Bulldogs, led by Travis Cassidy and four-goal forward Ricky Munn, booted six goals to one in the last term.
Meanwhile, Werribee Centrals edged out Corio by 22 points in a Geelong and District Football League Smiths Holden Cup arm wrestle on Saturday.
The Centurions were made to work every step of the way to bring up their third consecutive victory.
Brad McNicol and Nathan Lovell, who booted four goals, continued their white hot form for the Centurions.
