THE fixtures are out for the Football Federation Victoria’s restructured state league competitions.
There are splashes of new mixed in with the old rivalries we have come to know and love.
The main change is the introduction of Melbourne Heart into the men’s state league 2 north-west.
The A-League club will attach Youth to its name to differentiate between the professional club and the amateur branch.
Players will come largely from the Heart’s youth squad. The club will be like any other in that it can be promoted and relegated.
Heart will play out of Epping Stadium.
Werribee City will start its campaign on April 7 at home to St Albans Saints in state league 1.
