WERRIBEE made a flying start to the U15 Hatch Shield with victories in its opening two games.
However, the Tigers met their match in their final game of opening week, losing to the last remaining unbeaten west group side Roxburgh Park-Broadmeadows.

The Tigers began the elite representative tournament with crushing road win over Sunshine at Dempster Park.
Set just 115 to win, the Tigers reached the target six down with Fawwaz Abdul Sathaar the star with 55.
Nicholas Buykx was lethal with the new ball earlier in the day, taking 4-17 off nine overs.
On the second day, it took an even team performance from the Tigers to bring down Melton at Chirnside Park.
The visitors were rolled for a meagre 67 and the Tigers reached the target with no fuss.
The good vibes ended there when they confronted Roxburgh Park-Broadmeadows and came off second best.
The Tigers were bowled out for 75 and had no answer to the host’s batting might.
