Yes, that’s the ticket!

A Tarneit lotto franchisee is grinning from ear to ear after his kiosk sold a division one ticket – less than six months after he took over the business.

Nunzio Sottile said he was thrilled to come in on the Sunday morning following the October 29 draw and discover his Tarneit Gardens business had sold the winning Tattslotto superdraw ticket.

The 10 winners, who shared in a syndicate that won division one and other divisional prizes in the draw, will share in more than $1.9 million prizemoney, or $191,694 per person.

“It’s the dream and I’m happy to have helped fulfil that dream,” Mr Sottile said.

“It’s great to know the win will make so many people happy and our customers are very lovely and deserving people. Some of the winners are regular customers … they were pretty excited.”

Mr Sottile, who has lived in Wyndham all his life, took over the business in May and hopes his luck will continue in producing another division one-winning customer before the year is out.

Along with the winning Tarneit syndicate, there were also three division one-winning entries sold in Victoria, two division ones in South Australia and one each in New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia for the same draw.

The winning numbers in the draw were 33, 39, 20, 23, 42, and 15, with the supplementary numbers 36 and 22.
