A Wyndham Vale woman has found herself $1 million richer, after winning in Monday night’s Lotto draw.
The woman was one of the three division one winning entries nationally in the Monday and Wednesday Lotto draw 4234, drawn Monday November 14, with each division one winning entry scoring $1 million.
Upon finding out she had won, the unamed woman said “I’m so happy I could cry,”.
“I originally thought I’d only won a few dollars, but I kept crossing off more and more numbers and before I knew it, I had them all,” she said.
“I didn’t sleep at all last night. I was so excited.
“Honestly, it means so much to me and my family…This Christmas is going to be the best we’ve ever had.
“It just feels like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. It’s the best news ever.”
The winning entry was purchased at Manor Lakes News & Lotto in Wyndham Vale.
Owner Rajiv Sharma said it was the third major prize winning entry the store has sold in four months.
“I’m not on cloud nine, I’m on cloud ninety-nine,” he said.
“We’re all so happy for the winner and hope they really enjoy being a division one winner.”
