A Wyndham Vale teenager was injured after falling from the roof of a moving car in Altona on Monday, October 31.
Police said four teenagers fell from the car roof about 11.30pm, in the vicinity of The Esplanade and Davies Street.
A 17-year-old Melton South girl was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
The 17-year-old girl from Wyndham Vale later presented to hospital with injuries and received treatment.
Two other young women, believed to be sitting on the roof at the time, were not injured and have spoken to police.
Police arrested a 21-year-old Braybrook man on Tuesday, November 1 and charged him with a string of offences including dangerous driving causing serious injury, recklessly causing serious injury, failing to assist following an accident causing serious injury, failing to report to police if a person is injured and driving as a learner driver without an appropriate supervising driver.
Police also charged a 21-year-old Caroline Springs man with reckless conduct endangering serious injury and driving in a dangerous manner after he presented himself to a police station.
Both men were bailed to appear before Melbourne Magistrates Court on January 30, 2023.
A 20-year-old Sunshine man also presented a police station on Tuesday afternoon and was interviewed by detectives.
He is expected to be charged on summons with traffic offences.
