Wyndham Vale pedestrian fatality

A man has been killed after being hit by a car in Wyndham Vale on Friday morning.

It is believed that a Honda Accord struck a pedestrian near the intersection of Black Forest Road and Brimpton Grove about 5am on June 28.

The pedestrian, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their inquiries.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined, however police have been told the man was laying on the road at the time he was struck by the vehicle.

The investigations remain ongoing.
