Wyndham Vale man shot in Sunbury

Police are investigating after a Wyndham Vale man was foun with a suspected gunshot wound in Sunbury this morning (Monday, October 31).

Emergency services were called to Shields Street following reports a man was lying on the ground injured about 12.45am.

The 59-year-old man was taken to hospital with what is believed to be a non-life-threatening injury.

Police say the incident appears to be targeted and the victim has not been forthcoming with information as yet.
