Police have charged three Wyndham men during an ongoing investigation regarding a serious road incident in Altona Meadows last year.
Police executed a warrant at an address on Weighbridge Avenue in Wyndham Vale and arrested a 20-year-old man today (September 14).
The Wyndham Vale man has been charged with intentionally causing serious injury in relation to a stabbing incident at Altona Meadows in November last year. He will reappear in court later today.
Police allege a 53-year-old man was driving a white Ford Ranger utility along Carinza Avenue near Oakdene Grove at about 2.30pm, when he was involved in a road rage incident with two male occupants of another vehicle.
The 53-year-old Altona Meadows man was allegedly stabbed and treated for serious injuries.
The two males from the other vehicle allegedly fled the scene.
Police also executed a warrant at a property on Wheat Avenue in Truganina as part of the investigation about 11.30am today.
An 18-year-old Truganina man was charged with drug trafficking and firearm offences unrelated to this incident and will face court today.
The second person, an 18-year-old Truganina man, was arrested for unrelated matters and charged with failing to appear while on bail. He has been bailed to appear in court at a later date.
