Wyndham Health Foundation launches

The Werribee Hospital Foundation has announced a new development to reflect the organisations dedication to providing greater support to the Wyndham community.

From today, the group will henceforth be known as the Wyndham Health Foundation.

The organisation’s chief executive Leanne Down said the foundation is “very excited” to spread their reach to include public healthcare services.

“Not only will we provide support to each public hospital that Wyndham is fortunate to receive, but we are excited to begin exploring how we can build relationships with public health care outside of a traditional hospital setting to ensure that our community has the best public healthcare support possible,” she said.

This announcement was made at the Impact Breakfast event hosted by the foundation in Werribee South, where board members and key foundation supporters

gathered to hear the announcement.

“Wyndham’s population has grown at lightning speed and that means more public health services need our support, our vision remains unchanged, to ensure that the City of

Wyndham has the public hospital and healthcare services that the community needs.”

said Wyndham Health Foundation Founding Director Nik Tsardakis.

Wyndham Health Foundation said their mission to continuously improve Wyndham Wide public healthcare and hospital services and to support patient care remains.
