Wyndham Art Gallery’s celebratory 10 year art book, DECADE, has been awarded a Distinction in the category of publication at the AGDA [Australian Graphic Design Association] Awards.
Held annually, the awards recognise talent across a wide range of creative industries.
DECADE highlights 70 the artists and exhibitions that have featured at the Wyndham Art Gallery since 2011.
Wyndham creative city portfolio holder councillor Marcel Mahfoud, said he is “delighted” that DECADE was recognised.
“Wyndham Art Gallery is gaining lots of traction as being the best little Art Gallery in the west of Melbourne and this award is testament to this,” she said.
“Wyndham Art Gallery’s book DECADE, which celebrates 10 years of artistic programming, was a finalist in this year’s AGDA Design Award 2022 at an awards ceremony held in Sydney.”
Each year the AGDA Design Awards recognise the best work in Australia across a wide range of design disciplines.
The publication was co-published with Black Inc Books.
The ceremony was hosted in November.
