The Wynnies Art Prize winners were announced on Sunday, June 19, showcasing the municipality’s most creative kids.
The artwork reflected the entrants’ favourite experience of living in Wyndham and submissions were categorised by three sets of age groups including four to six, seven to nine and 10 to 12.
Deputy mayor Jasmine Hill said the exhibition was a “massive success“ and the standard of entries was “really high“.
“We were overjoyed to receive 294 entries…it was well and truly more than we expected,” Cr Hill said.
“This means we have so many imaginative, inspiring, artistic young people in this city. Wyndham is so fortunate to have all this wonderful, creative, young people.“
