A woman has been found unconscious in a residential Tarneit street this afternoon.
The woman, who is believed to be aged in her forties, was located in front of a property in Harrington Avenue around 4.30pm.
Star Weekly understands pedestrians found the woman and called emergency services.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics conveyed the woman, who was in a serious condition, to Werribee Mercy Hospital.
Police are still looking into the circumstances of what has occurred.
Officers have been doorknocking nearby houses, asking if people have CCTV.
