Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 28-year-old woman following a fatal collision in Williams Landing early Sunday.
It is believed three cars collided at the intersection of Palmers Road and Sayers Road just after 2am.
A female driver and only occupant of the first car died at the scene.
A Truganina woman has been charged with one count of culpable drive causing death.
She has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 14 January.
