Woman arrested after two hit by car in Point Cook

Police have arrested a 34-year-old woman after two people, including a teenage girl, were allegedly hit by a vehicle in Point Cook on Saturday night.

Investigators have been told a 22-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl were struck by a car in a car park off Boardwalk Boulevard about 11.10pm.

The 22-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries while the 14-year-old was treated at the scene.

The 34-year-old Point Cook woman has been interviewed by detectives and charged with intentionally cause injury, reckless conduct endangering life, drive manner dangerous and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.

She has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on August 19.

Meanwhile, police are also investigating a road rage incident in Black Forest Road, Wyndham Vale on Sunday.

The incident occurred about 12pm and involved a white Commodore with extensive damage.
