Witnesses to Williams Landing collision wanted

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision that injured a girl in Williams Landing on Thursday.

The girl was reportedly struck by a car while walking across a pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Federation Trail and Forsyth Road at about 3.30pm on August 17.

The nine-year-old Williams Landing girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the silver Holden Commodore stopped at the scene.

Police later interviewed a 42-year-old Werribee man pending further inquiries.
