A lucky Wyndham resident’s lotto numbers came through earning them a share in
$1.4 million earlier this month.
The local winner was one of 36 in the Abracadabra syndicate who each pocketed nearly $40,000 each.
Wyndham Village Lotto and News agent Mahesh Thakur said he was delighted he sold another winning ticket.
“We’re thrilled to have sold a division one ticket,” he said.
“This isn’t the biggest win that we’ve had
in store, we had a $7.5 million win four years
ago and have had three more wins
since.
“[We’re] very happy for the customer.”
There were 14 division one winning entries nationally in the TattsLotto draw 3963, on July 13. Each winning division one prize was worth $1,428,571.43.
Six of the 14 winning entries were from Victoria, three each from New South Wales and Queensland and one each from the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
