Police are investigating a robbery at a bus stop in Werribee South, which occurred on July 8.
Investigators have been told an unknown male offender boarded a bus at the Werribee train station about 2pm.
The man exited the bus about 2.20pm on K Road, at the same time as his victim.
The offender asked to use the victim’s mobile phone and was denied.
He assaulted the victim, stole his mobile phone and fled the scene on foot.
Police have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
